No Spinoza is Thomas Pearson, a writer, musician, designer and engineer from the north-east of England. Educated at The Queen's College, Oxford and the Bartlett School of Architecture, he is currently based in London.

His work couples a developing specialism in the conservation and reinterpretation of historic buildings with a poetic appreciation for their symbolic role in an urban context. Other interests include issues of local and national identity, post-modern fragmentation of cities, and storytelling.
